Inspiration - a poem

Scott was a novelist
One day he went to an art galley
Inspired by the experience, he decided to take a leaf out of visual artists books
And he hired a nude model to be his muse
The resulting novel was an abject failure
Yet countless other male novelists still felt the experiment warranted copying
